Namibia Safari Specials
Every year our partner in Namibia offers some great rates for travel during the "green season". Usually these rates only apply from January to March, but this year they've been extended for travel between September to March.
The "green season" is southern Africa's summertime and in some places the rainy season. Typically it's the least popular time for safaris, but there are some distinct advantages to traveling between September and March.
Take a look at a few sample itineraries for some safari inspiration. We can work with to design a customized itinerary to match your interests and budget. Our partner is also offering generous terms to give you the confidence to travel once again.
Authentic Tanzania with Dan Hopkins
Please join Dan Hopkins, owner of GrassTrack Safaris, for a privately guided 13-day safari through the game parks of northern Tanzania. Our guide is one of the top in Tanzania (he's guided for BBC and Nat Geo film crews) and we'll join a big cat biologist as we participate in a Citizen Science project and assist in his research of the lions and cheetahs of the Serengeti. We'll visit the beautiful Tarangire National Park and the stunning Ngorongoro Crater before traveling to the Serengeti. Our visit will be near the end of the calving season when tens of thousands of wildebeest and zebra give birth - surely one of the greatest natural history events on Earth!
THIS SAFARI IS FULLY BOOKED
The Great Elephant Safari
Please join Dan Hopkins, owner of GrassTrack Safaris and our partner in Zimbabwe, Imvelo Safari Lodges for The Great Elephant Safari. On this unique journey we’ll spend 12 days following ancient elephant migration routes as we learn about the natural history, ecology and conservation issues facing Africa’s elephants. Mark Butcher, owner of Imvelo, will join us for a day of village visits to learn about their vital role in conservation and to see how local communities live among elephants.
