Victoria Falls & Hwange National Park

An 11-day Experience of Zimbabwe's Stunning Landscapes & Abundant Wildlife

On your Zimbabwe Safari you'll experience the thundering Victoria Falls, walk in the bush tracking lions, elephants, and other game, and engage with the local people at schools and in their community.  All with the best trained guides in Africa.  We can personalize this sample itinerary for you by adding extra nights and activities in both  Victoria Falls and Hwange.

Your safari begins at the magnificent Victoria Falls where you can enjoy sunset river cruises, walks along the Falls, cultural interactions, and excellent food.  You'll then move to Hwange, Zimbabwe's largest national park.

Hwange is home to lions, cheetahs, and wild dogs but also presents an opportunity to learn about elephant conservation.  Your Hwange journey starts at Nehimba Lodge, in the north of Hwange, a landscape of rocky hills and mopane forests.  Excellent game can be found here on day (and night) game drives and bush walks.  The swimming pool attracts many elephants and you'll be astounded as you sip a cold drink on the deck only a few yards from elephants enjoying their cold drink.

You'll then board the Elephant Express train to Bomani Lodge, in the southern region of Hwange, for more game drives and bush walks.   With a visit to the local village and school, you'll see the vital role local communities play in conservation.

For a truly wild adventure, you'll head to the remote Jozibanini Tented Camp.  This rustic camp is a mecca for elephants with few, if any, other tourists.  You'll enjoy bush walks, game drives, easy mountain biking on old elephant paths.  Your journey ends with a flight from Jozibanini Camp back to the Victoria Falls Airport.

This privately guided safari, perfect for families or a group of friends.

We can customize this itinerary for you to create a truly unique safari!
