On this 11-day Zimbabwe safari you'll explore the stunning landscapes and witness the amazing wildlife of this fascinating country.  You'll journey to the seldom visited Gonarezhou National Park, the enormous Mana Pools National Park, and the magnificent Victoria Falls.

Your safari begins in the far south of Zimbabwe with 5 nights in Gonarezhou National Park, one of Zimbabwe's largest park and full of rugged and scenic landscapes.  Situated on the border of Mozambique, Gonarezhou is famous for its elephants, and many of the largest-tusked elephants in the region may be found within the Park.

From Gonarezhou, you'll fly to Mana Pools National Park in the far north of Zimbabwe on the banks of the Zambezi River. Mana is known for its immense bull elephants and the sight of an elephant standing upon its hind legs to stretch for the seedpods of a giant tree upon the floodplain has become iconic. Mana Pools is not all about elephants; you can expect to see large numbers of plains game and the predators that follow them. 

Finally your safari ends at the beautiful Victoria Falls.  At Victoria Falls, the earth splits open and swallows one of Africa’s greatest rivers, the mighty Zambezi, creating the largest sheet of falling water on earth. As the water hits the narrow depths of the Batoka Gorge beneath, it blasts a cloud of mist skywards, lending the falls their local name ‘mosi-oa-tunya’ (the smoke that thunders).  You'll spend 2 nights here enjoying all the Falls has to offer-river cruises, walks along the falls, and scenic flights.
